I have several S&W Revolvers but I have always been interested in a Model 624 snubbie. Never have seen one except in magazines or online.

Found one at a gun store yesterday. It looks in good shape and has a most excellent trigger, probably best I've ever felt in a revolver...obviously some one has worked on it.

I saw somewhere else that these had a recall and also if I find this has been fixed what is it worth?

Also anyone have one of thses if so how do you like them?

Thanks in advance.

Recall/Price

In this section's FAQ the 624/629 recall is addressed. Also do a search and you should find several posts where this was discussed in detail.

If you're referring to the 3" 624 I've got one. It was produced for Lou Horton, a S&W distributor. Came w/finger grip combat stocks, a holster (not sure if holster was actually supplied or was an available option).

It's a nice gun, like it a lot. Bought mine last year, very good condition w/box (which is marked w/"the red C") and papers for $560.
I think it was underpriced about $100.

Good Luck, Kevin

Yes Kevin, this is the exact one. I will talk to the dealer on Tuesday and get a Serial # or see if it had a box.

Thanks a bunch.
