For non-serious applications RIMZ makes easy to use moon clips which don't require a tool to remove the spent cartridges from the clips.
+1 to this

I just started using their moon clips with a 25-2, and aside from having to trim a smidge of the inside of each clip to fit my round ratchet, these things work very well for range use

Bought my 625 Model 1988 a long while back. Most accurate revolver I own. Congratulations on a great purchase.

I have been thinking about new grips. A tough decision has to be made. Probably wood with finger grooves.
I never liked the Pach Grippers that those shipped with, just felt cheap. I put some VZ round-to-square conversions on it, feel much better to me and look clean as well, without being super expensive. Enjoy your new gun, I absolutely love my 625 5"IMG_2398.jpeg

Agree about the Grippers but I really like the older Pach Presentation grips. Ones made before Pach started putting the medallion on the grips.

My 625 is newer but that does not keep me from liking it. 625-8 JM. And I use RIMZ Poly Moon Clips. Do have Ranch Product clips as well. Bob
