I like the configuration of the 625 PC...the one with the 4" barrel with the tapered underlug and the red, white, and blue grips, but I HATE the grips. I would like to see some photos of this gun with any other grips than the ones it came with. If I bought one of these, I would probably have it try on a set of Ahrends Retro Combat round to square conversion grips.

Well, mine is a 625 PC, but it is the V-Comp. I put a set of Ahrends round to square conversion cocobolo grips on it. They make it much easier for me to handle and I think they look great.

625 stocks

I've got neuropathy of the hands and have gone thru 8 sets of stocks at last count. Best for me is the Hogue Big Butt. I have the wood version on a 625 I use for USPSA and the rubber version on my Steel Challenge 627. I've cut off the left side riser on both versions. I found it gives my right thumb something of a locator ledge and makes it easier to repeat my grip. I also use a Dr Scholl "gripper" heel insert on both. It changes the grip angle to a near perfect sight alignment at presentation to target and also a bit of shock absorber for long courses of fire. Of course, your results may vary.
