Hey all.

What can you tell me about this gun?

Seems like it would be a good colelctor. There is a calim that only 4500 were made in 1989.

I MAY have a chance to purcahse one......

Seems like it is in really good shape.

They're beautiful guns. Make sure you get the original wood combat grips that they came with. The 627-0 they made 4500 or so. The 627 no dash they only made a few hundred.

Get it - you won't be sorry. According to SCSW (iirc) you are right about the production numbers. The "nodash" version is much more rare than the -0.

They came in a couple variation - some with laser engraving, some without.

Thanx John.

I'll see what happens in the morning.

A member on a Canadian forum posted to where gun is. Someone else may get to it before I do......

Sean.

Any more opinions?

Wow! You guys are quick.

Thanx guys. If there are anymore opinions, let em fly.

I'll add too that they shoot veeeery nicely. The full underlug, heavy barrel profile, and unfluted cylinder soak up an awful lot of recoil.

If it turns out to be in really good shape, I doubt that I will shoot it.

Hope for more of a collector.

I can get a 686 for sootin.

For some reason the production number of around 5276 stands out in my mind.
