Model 629-1 3" barrel square butt .....sorta

This is one of those "I wish they made" .......It is a standard factory M629-1 with the 3 " barrel that I wished had a square butt so I could put on one of my favorite pair of customized (shortened and rounded) smooth factory grips.
On a cold winter's day some years ago, I continued the grips customization and made it a "round to square" butt. I really liked the results !

Do it yourself. Looks as good, or better, than some of the round-to-square conversion grips sold today.
