Model 629-1 feedback

I just picked this up today and i would appreciated some feedback from the experts here. It has an "M" stamped in the yoke to the left of 629-1. Would these grips be original to this model. If not, what do you think they are from? does the presentation case look period for this model? It magically said buy me, so I did @675. thanks in advance for your replys.

I am jealous. all I got with my 629-4 was that ugly blue plastic box, paperwork and a trigger lock , Yours is nice
