I contacted a seller on a different website for the gun in this photo, and he said it was available!
I was beyond excited... I urgently paid the full amount... I thought of the gun for days, and he later texted me "sorry we actually sold that and never updated the listing).
Somehow this is 1000x worse than just seeing the exact gun you want but it's already gone.
Now though, I decided that instead of sitting around waiting I should just attempt to buy it from S&W collectors who might want to buy something else, or just move on from it.

- I'm looking for a -3, -4, pre-lock, simply because I actually intend to shoot the crap out of it. However, if someone has a -1, or -2 I wouldn't be adverse to it.
- The similar grain/style of stocks are really important, as there are some elsewhere online but I do not really like the grips. The grips in this photo are near perfect to my eye, it pretty much was perfectly what I wanted. I'd like to try to get close, it seems like a few thousand made at the same time all had this similar subtle "striped" appearance
- I don't want a ported barrel
- I want the standard orange ramp site, pretty much like in the photo
