I have a Model 63 with the two inch barrel. What was the proper length cleaning rod for this barrel length? Did Smith actually downsize for the snubby barrel length?

I could use an unopened cleaning kit for this gun if someone has one to part with.
This gun came in the one piece box. Need the paper and 'tophat' also.
Would like to get this package completed.

Thanx,

Anyone have a picture of a boxed two inch .22?

What's the s/n? Does it match your box. With those grips it looks like it's from the era of the current round-corner plastic case.

BRC3495 is the serial number of the gun.
I just picked up the box here and am trying to complete the package. It is labeled for the two incher. The number on the box is BNK5671. I believe it is the same year. It is the one piece box with the top hat in the center.

BRC is February of 1994 and BNK is Aug-Nov 1992. The one-piece box is correct. In that era the wood Magna stocks would of been factory. Around 1996, or so, they started using the Uncle Mike "banana" style grip on M63's. They quit making the M63 in late 1999 early 2000. Then brought it back again in 2006/2007 sometime. The grips shown in your pics are much more recent. Within the last 6 or 7 years.
