This seems like a good deal. It would be around a 250 mile drive thou.

He's asking $550 claims it's near mint. Original box, papers, cleaning brush, and screw driver.

I had a 3" version back in the day and could kick myself for selling it.

That is an excellent price! Cheap enough to justify the gasoline for the trip. Go get it!

Besides, I could drive north for 250 miles from my house and still not get to Fairbanks. So, we aren't really talking very far . . . :D

The question is would you turn around before you got 250 miles out fear that you would otherwise not get back before your pipes freeze?

Wood714,
I'd make the drive but arrange the meeting at a time that avoids rush hour. Unlike JP@AK most of us will pass through a big city before we get that far away.

I'm gonna text him in the morning.

I bought a Ruger MK IV 22/45 off GB that should be here tomorrow. Wouldn't be the first time I've bought 2 guns in one day.

Wood714,

I hope by now, you are on the road! An outstanding revolver at a very good price with the opportunity to inspect it before you lay out the cash! $550 is what I paid for mine with box, papers, & tools at an estate auction but that was ten years ago!
One of my all time favorite handguns. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

It is also a early gun with pinned bbl. I have one later with no pin and it is as accurate as my 22 Combat Masterpiece. It appears to be a $850 revolver. Get it, and get it now. Like they say, "you snooze, you lose". Big Larry

Just before Christmas I got a "nice 95%ier" no box or docs for $500 at a small rural LGS 35 miles away.

Was told by everyone it was a great price......... but the biggest thing for me was; I'd been on the lookout for a 63 for at least 5-6 years with no local sightings at any price.

Good luck!!

One of the last gun shows I attended in Reno, I was partially disabled and not able to walk the show. I told my BIL I was looking for a M63. He took off and found one, NIB for $650. An hour or so later he finally came and told me, so I limped over to the next room to find it had been sold. Had he come back right away I would have gotten it. Later he came back to the table and told me he had found another one that was used with no box for $450. We went immediately to the sellers table and looked the M63 over. It was a late non pinned gun that was near mint, so I bought it. Saved me $200. No box, but I bought this one to carry and shoot off my Hondo 4 wheeler. Great little gun and it is very accurate as stated earlier. Big Larry

I scratched the 22 itch last year with a pinned 4" 63-0, cost me 700 with no box. I was glad to get it.

About a year ago I made a 200 mile round trip to a gunshow and found this Model 63 for $475 with DROS fees. No box or papers and (the horror !) it was outfitted with a set of Pachmayrs. Undeterred I found these smooth Target Stocks on another table for $40. But, being a resident of CA I had to wait 10 days and then make another 200 mile round trip to pick it up from the transferring dealer. So I burned about $50 in gas plus $24 in parking and show admission but I still think I did OK. They are scarce in CA and usually ~ $750 when you can find them.

The most I ever paid for a Kit Gun was $800. I wasn't and am not sorry. I've been fairly fortunate on all the others, getting them for several hundred less. But you don't often find them for low dollars if they are in good shape.

It's still available, but I think I'm gonna pass. If it was a 3" I'd be all over it. I've kinda been wanting to get a good quality AK, I've got an underfolder, but would like to add a regular wood stock model.

It's located in Trenton FL. if anyone wants the dudes number, send me a PM.

I saw it yesterday. It has a pinned barrel, box, papers, tools. Great price. And only 100 miles away! But I'm not in the market at this time.
