I have a S&Wmodel 64-3 SS 4” barrel and serial# starts with 1D930xx, I am trying to,get some information on this firearm, age value and rarity! Thanks to whom ever can assist

Made in 1980. Not rare at all. Someone else will have to help you with the price, but it won't be particularly high.

Police trade 64s go for $300ish. Nice examples with box go for upwards of $400. Which is a bargain considering the new ones cost $500-600 depending on dealer.

Welcome to the FORUM! A 64-3, will normally not be a high dollar gun. Put that aside, and you should end up with a great shooter! I traded into 1 some years back. Was not a LEO trade in. I have around $300 in mine. Great trade. Great gun. Bob
