Hey all I want to know what is the best way to polish my gun I have a 1991 Model 64-5 and i use a little bit of Hoppe's lube oil on it to give it a shine but want to do it properly all advice is appreciated.

If anyone would like to see a picture of it give me your email.

Mothers Mag Wheel Polish. Look at the 60 in my avatar. EVERYONE thinks it's nickel plated. Takes 2-3 hours.

A 150 or 320 grit sanding SPONGE (not sandpaper) and Mothers Mag Polish. Mothers is inexpensive and readily available. I can't post photos but I have a Model 28 that I ended up having to remove all the blue and used these to polish it to where most people think it's nickle. It'll probably go back to S&W for a refinish but it looks very nice the way it is.....not appropiate but nice.
