Guess I really like projects, aka glutton for punishment, but found these among others.
Was wondering about the 65-3 round butt and if it would have been anything other than a 3” bbl? And just noticed the hole in frame where Ben pointed out below was for frame lug which I didn’t know came out. And 64 is a no dash 4” tapered bbl. Any ideas of what to do with these to make into, of course, non collectible shooters? Thanks for looking…

The 65-3 round butt would have had a 3” barrel as you believe. And the little hole is for what’s called the frame lug. Keeps the cylinder from slipping off the yoke when opened.

I think I’d have fun with the 65, and install blue cylinder and barrel to make a sort of “Pinto”. But try to stick with a 3” barrel.
