Can anyone please give me a ball park idea of what this beauty is worth? I'm thinking of selling it to fund another gun purchase. any help would be highly appreciated. It is a Model 64 no dash .38 special. Looks like a tapered barrel. #894**. Does not have original grips. Other than that, gun is in great condition. Really tight and minor wear.

Looks to be a $450 gun or so. You will find the true serial number on the bottom of the grip frame, likely the letter D followed by six digits. Hope this is helpful.

I agree,You may be able to get $500 out of it as its the early Tapered Barrel version.

I gave $400.00 for mine in May 2013 with an incorrect factory box, which I sold for $15.00 as I left the gun shop. I doubt it has gained $100.00 in value in fifteen months. There has been a 64, not as nice as mine, in a LGS all summer for $525.00 with no takers. A nice set of original type stocks for your gun will run $50.00+.
