Has anyone noticed the model 64's that are being imported from Austria. They are Austrian police and customs guns. They are going for pretty good prices. I just got one for $200 and I have a bid on another for the same price. It seems that no one is buying them like when the model 10's were cheap. Is it because of the Austrian proof marks? I don't really care about the proof marks. I am going to be using them as woods and carry guns. I figure for $200 I can't go wrong.

Where did you find them?

The seller has a supply of 64s, 65s, 66s and 67s with various stock types. I would guess they were carried a lot and shot occasionally. The model 66s are going at about current market rates, but as you noted the others are really good deals.

They have been popping up on Gunbroker. I have seen a few model 65's going for $250-$300. I figured I would bring it up on here to let people know there are still some good deals out there if you look for them.
