OK, I'm a dumbass. I took my 640-1 apart and lost the Hand Torsion Spring. I'm not sure where it went, but it's gone.

I've got another one on order, but I don't have a good idea on how it goes back in. The schematics I've found on-line aren't too specific. Can someone show me a picture of how this spring attaches to my trigger/hand?

Thanks in advance...

You are not the first one, Rolan.

There is a post in FAQ's about installing hand spring - http://smith-wessonforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5301039...821095913#2821095913

Rolan I'm not very good with words so please over look it. Hold your trigger like it would be in your gun and look at the back of it. Now move it close and just give the inside of the trigger a look over how it was made. Now look and see if you see the cup that the coil of the spring sets in, right behind it you will see a hole. One end of the sping goes in the hole and the coil sets in the cup and you take a punch and push the other end of the spring and install hand. Hope I didn't mess with you mine much

Bullseye,
You made perfect sense to me. As soon as the part gets here I think I'll be ready to install it.
Thanks!
