Model 649 No Dash - What year?

I was wondering the year of manufacture for a model 649, .38 special, with the serial number: ANR39xx

My copy of the SCSW does not specifically list that prefix. About the closest I could guess is late 1986-early 1987.

If you have the box, check the label and post the 4 digit number listed under Spec Ord. That is the Julian date the gun was shipped.
