What less than 5 bills can buy you... 649-3

[No Quarter]

At least in the market as it is today, it can buy you a 649-3 with Crimson Trace laser Grips. I have been looking for another 649 in .38. This popped up at the local shop and I snatched it up immediately. It is in excellent condition. Perfect timing, clean, and minimal signs of any real wear at all. The owner of the shop is friend of mine and he said the revolver market is super soft so he priced it to sell.

Serial number is CCK02XX. Odd because my Catalog of S&W shows that as being a January 1998 Prefix.

Anyway, here she is. Not sure if I will keep those stocks on it as I do like to carry 357 SB Gold Dots or Golden Sabres. I guess I'll have to shop for new stocks...

I for sure would have taken that one home for $500, then sold the grips off it immediately. A reasonably priiced no-lock 357 649 has been on my radar for some time now.

I did not hesitate! Pre-lock 357 J-frames are hard enough to find, even more so a 649-3. Looking forward to shooting it this weekend.
