This was part of the estate sale I mentioned earlier.

When I got it, it barely cycled. I thought that I'd need a mallet to open the cylinder. Internally, it was a mess. But most of that was congealed oil and grease. I stripped it down and used no-VOC brake cleaner to get a lot of the crud out and then hit everything with penetrating oil. The crud almost looked like rust, but it came out. There was pitting under the grips, too.

The hammer was bobbed post-factory. It appears that somebody knew what they were doing, as it looks good. The SA notch was retained.

Once all the cleaning was done, it went back together and functioned nicely, with good carry-up. It shot well. I put on a set of CT Lasergrips and now carry it.

Good Job. I have a new 2 3/4" bbl. K frame revolver, fixed sights, and I like it a lot.
