Model 65 4 inch

I went to Cross Roads gun show at Las Vegas Convention Center today. Choked on parking and entry fee but everything seems to be more expensive.
I was almost to last row and I found come Colt and S&W revolvers in a glass case without price tag.
I asked to see a S&W 4 inch model 65. After I looked at it I asked the seller for a price. $282 out the door.
The seller advised he was selling out and would retire.
A customer that was at the table when I arrived bought a 3 inch round butt 65 for the same price.
When I took grips off found a little corrosion under the grips.

You will love the 65. Was my duty gun till we switched to Sig 9mm. They let us buy them for $100. We carried Remington 125 gr .357. Flamethrowers. Mine was done over by my gunsmith and given a bead blast finish.

In today's market that is an astounding price. I bought a M-65 in the mid 70's, still shoot and carry it. Hope your's serves you as well as mine has.

I don't even like stainless and would have jumped on that.
I can't even find beat up model tens around here for under $300 anymore.
Gone ar3 the days I could sift through piles of old cop revolvers and buy any I want for 150-200 bucks.
