Model 657

Hi Guys,

Been a while since I posted anything. But this one was was a little different.

It’s stainless 41 Mag. I was fortunate to pick up the gun, box and documents at what I think is a very reasonable price.

I think this may be a Lew Horton gun. I’ve attached pics. Any information you can provide would be great.

Best thing to do is call them (1-800-446-7866) directly and speak with Earl. He can look it up and send you out one of their letters if it is one of theirs.

NICE...I have had four over the years and have just one left..a very well used one that has been to Mag-Na-Port...but it is a great shooter...

No, these were not a LH special...there was somewhere over 5K of them made and what was called a non-catalog stocking dealer special. The LH guns were a 3" with a full underlug barrel and less than 150 of them were made...

The 175 grain Winchester ST ammo is a great factory SD round for these... If you have one of the MeHic 180 grain molds it works well also...

ps...in the condition that yours is in with the box and docs, I have seen them bring $2K... A shooter grade with no box is over a grand...

Thanks for that informations my S/N falls in that range of the last production run.

Makes me wonder, is a letter is worth it on this one? I’m into the gun for next to nothing as it is.

In case you don't already know it, your Spec. Ord.# "6262" translates to Friday Sept.19, 1986.
