So my local shop took in some model 66's, all from the same guy.
A 2 1/2" 66-1 P&R (dates to 1980) orig. box, serial #'d grips, and papers (no tools)- I bought this one.
A 4" 66 (no dash) P&R orig. box, orig. wood grips, and papers (no tools) - may have been the guys duty gun, but didn't look abused.
A 6" P&R (don't recall if it had a dash), but it has the same style box as the 66-1 (with papers) and orig. wood grips.
Each one was $450. No safe queens, as these all showed signs of being fired (but not abused).
Is there any reason to get excited about the other two for the $450 asking price?
Thanks.
Update:
Decided against buying the other two.
Here's the 2 1/2" I did buy.
Added the Ahrend grip (original grips in new condition & a Pachmyr came with the gun). Even still have a couple of holster left from when I used to have a 2 1/2" 19 (went to the ex when I got divorced
