Model 66 4'' no dash

First I just want to say Happy New Year to all. As I said I just bought this revolver for $450.00 shipped to my door. The serial # is AK63181 and it has the .500'' Target trigger and stainless steel sights. It is in very nice condition. Can one of you gentlemen please tell me the year of manufacture? Would really appreciate it.

I dont think that SN is correct. A no dash 66 will have a number before the K not a letter,or at least mine does. Without clarification on the SN number I would bet 1970-1972 based on the stainless rear sight.

Maybe your birthday

According to The Catalog 4K54105 - 4K99999 is from 1974. This seems pretty late to still have stainless sights but as with everything S&W, never say never.
