I was issued this in 1985. Carried it for a couple of years before we were issued Berettas. So glad I decided to buy it.

Yes they are great guns , I have a 67 no dash .

S&W really missed the boat IMHO by not offering the 67 as a 2" snub. Given the appreciation for the 2" Model 15, they might have sold a boatload of 67 snubs.

From what I've heard, everyone was fond of the 2.5" Model 66. My uncle wasn't a fan of the "blast" from short barreled Magnum K-frames, neither was his dad. It seems to be about 50/50. So, I'm sure a 2" Model 67 would've sold well.

I was issued this in 1985. Carried it for a couple of years before we were issued Berettas. So glad I decided to buy it.

Mine is an early 67 no dash. I bought in in 2006 from the same LGS where the original owner bought it. It came with original box with a price sticker showing $175. It had been back to the factory for a CT trigger and action job. It is a great shooting revolver.

These are great guns. One of S&Ws all time best.

Yeah that sucks. The only one I wish I had was the Beretta 92F. I bought the sigs. I hated the Glock so I passed on that. I have a line on very clean 92F that I hope to have soon.

Here's my 67-1 circa 1980. Most accurate handgun I own. Timing is tight as a drum and the trigger is smooth like buttah!

We were issued the Model 15. If you wanted a 67 you could buy one and it was approved for carry.

The 64 was available as a two inch. Police uniform pant pockets were big and easy to pocket carry the BUG.

The K-Frame 2.5 inch was a hit with most cops. You had the blue or nickel 19 or the 66. With the 357 Magnum ammunition the "blast" was more pronounced with the 125 JHP. Most cops carried 38 Special +P in their snubby.

My wife's house gun is a no dash 67. I carried it on the job for about a week while my M28 was in the shop. Had to draw it one night and felt like I was pointing a cap gun. 40 years later I went out and bought a 15-3 which has become my favorite range companion and might start taking road trips with me. Experience taught me I don't need N-frame weight at the end of my arm any more.

This 67-1 dates to April 1978. It came from the estate of a 100-year-old gentleman who bought it new and never used it. The executor of his estate knew I was a collector and offered it to me at an excellent price. These are nicely-made revolvers.

I figured as much. I shoot Magnums in my 2.5"s but, some of my relatives didn't.

I am holding out for a CHP marked 67. I missed a clapped out one on a auction site as the price got crazy and I just wasn't going out that much for the condition it was in.
