I just picked up a 4" Model 67 (no dash) with the silver sights and correctly numbered magna grips.

It is in excellent condition but unfortunately didn't include the box, papers, or tools. It shows very little signs of use and locks up very nicely. I will try to get a pic posted soon but until then, any help with a DOB for s/n 5K52xxx?

Thanks

How much did that run you? I saw one as you describe recently, in great condition, for $435.00.

$435?! If I lived down there, I'd snap that one up in 2 seconds.

I paid $320 and think I did pretty well.

The DA pull is wonderfully smooth, especially for a gun that appears to have been fired so little. The yoke screw is a bit long and when screwed in flush (not tight), really binds the yoke. That will need a little fitting. Otherwise, the pistol is practically perfect.

Thanks for the DOB.

Try swapping that yoke screw for the other round headed one located behind the trigger guard. Sounds like they got switched.

Beautiful 67 there, great price too.
It's interesting that you have the yoke screw tightness. I bought a 67-1 around New Year that had the same problem.

That's what I thought was wrong with mine too but they were the same.
I had to file it down a bit and that fixed it.

I mic'd them both and they are the exact same length. I'll chuck it up and round it off nicely when I get the chance. Not a big deal in my book.

$320 for a 1st year SS rear sight Model 67 no dash with stocks that match the gun is an absolute steal. Go buy a lottery ticket...quick.
The SS sights are hard to see and they changed them by 1973 to black and added Red ramp front sight.
But as a collector item revolver (ist year production) these are not found in every gun store. It will shoot just fine as is. If you decide to change out sights, add target stocks be sure to save originals in case you sell it. They are the selling point.
I live in NE Ohio too... however you got that for $320..keep doing it.! :)

Paid $500 last year with aftermarket grips which I replaced.I consider it a bargain at that price.Enjoy it.

I have a 66-no dash but it has the red front ramp and blued rear. The sights are much easier to see, but the all-silver sights on the 67 are just so retro! I love the overall look. It will definitely see some range-time, but I'll be leaving it as is.

Thanks everyone
