I am looking at a 686 4"bbl with sn auro7xx. Can anyone give a date of birth? I am having a hard time waiting for christmas as I have been told for some time now "christmas is coming"when I look at the S&W book. j

If you have the box, or can get a look at the box the SPEC. ORD. will be the Julian date and that is usually considered the DOB. You can find a date converter on the web.
