Model 686 square frame

I have been researching grips for my M686-0. It has a square grip frame. It seems there are very few options for grips ( have the original large target style and rubber pachmayers) I have also noticed that the holsters are limited also.
Are sales and use of the 686 that much less in number than K and J frames?

There are a ton of grips out there for L frames. K and L frames use the same grips. Try grips4guns.com,handgungrips.com and hogue to name a few.

For holsters try Simply rugged, Side Guard, Kramer and Lobo Gun leather.

The square butt was used on K/L frames till around '93, there's plenty of grips for them.

Hogue has a bunch of them, go straight to their website. You can either buy from them or get their product # and get them somewhere else.
