I took my Model 69 to the range for the first time today. It was very accurate from 15 yards as I was able to keep all 50 shots in the 9 ring on a small air rifle target. The trigger loosened up nicely as it started to break in. I only have 2 minor issues. I had to change the grips as the stock ones are a bit small even for my small hands. It was 90+ degrees out and while the stock ones were ok but sweat made it difficult to hold on to it. A quick change to standard Hogue Monogrips fixed that. The only other issue is that after the range session the powder stuck pretty good to the finish on the outside of the cylinder. I'll need to try something besides Hoppes #9. Otherwise it was perfect. It is definitely a keeper.

Thanks for the range review.

I like the concept of this gun but am looking forward to model with brushed stainless and stainless controls. Something that would look good with wood target grips. Same goes for the new 66-8.
