I have read all of the information I could find about the gun. I still have a lot of questions. It has proof marks all over the gun, it is quite the tattooed lady. I did not know if anyone had any thoughts on how I could gain more info, or should I just send in a request for a letter from the foundation.

I believe in the yoke of your gun I see part of the silhouette stamp they are talking about among other things.

The markings are typical for a gun of that era. Nothing special. Modern Smiths don't have all those markings. Robots and CNC stations don't require them.
