I am looking for one of the old style up side down shoulder holsters that I think were made by Bianchi. It had the elastic and possibly spring loaded retention system to secure the revolver. What was the model?

Thanks guys for the info. I used to see them all over the place and now I never see one when I want one. I need a lefthanded one which makes it even more difficult to locate.

Howdy,

I've got a Bucheimer that is just like the Bianchi that I'd sell for $50 plus shipping if you're interested.

The Bianchi holster you have in mind is a 9-R.
The 9-R is for a "J" frame revolver. A 9-R 2 is for a "K" frame size gun. I have used a 9-R 2 with a Security Six and an SP-101.
This holster can be found, SOMETIMES, on
e-bay.
Go to e-bay and type in Bianchi holsters and scroll down.
If you can't find one try:
www.gunleather.com/cart/shopexd.asp?id=128
They are made with elastic and cost around $100.00
