Models 64 and 67

What is the average ballpark value of the Model 64 and 67 that has been used and not kept in a safe unfired?

It would depend on how used and whether it has box and docs - tools ect.

I'd expect the 67 to fetch a little more by virtue of its adjustable sights and IIRC there were fewer 67's made.

That said, a well used 64 will fetch $300 locally without box and docs. A 67 will bring $350 + without box and docs.

For LNIB examples of either - pre lock - I'd expect to pay around $425 to $450. Hope this helps! Regards 18DAI

That's about what I paid ($325) here in Michigan earlier this year for a 4" Model 64 (heavy bbl) that had been carried on-duty from 1977 to 1988 by a Michigan State Police Trooper, which is who I got it from.

j&g sales has model 64 police trade ins for $270 - $300 plus $22 shipping
and you FFL cost. i have purchased them in the past and they are mechanically flawless.

I bought a very clean 64-1 a while back for just over $400 delivered. Seller said under 2 boxes of ammo through it. The Factory Grips looked new. I did not consider that to be excessive for the condition it was in.

My estimation for a Very Clean 64 the $400 is not extreme.
Probably add another $50 for a 67 in the same shape.

You already have numbers above for the police/guard guns.

A local gun store has a pretty good looking 67-1, but it's just a shooter -- they have priced at $469 and will probably get it. These used guns compete with the news one that all cost hundreds more.
