Anyone have problems with the moe stock wobbling on the 15-22??? Looking to get one but many people have told me to go ctr for the friction lock Cuz the moe wobbles.

I have an MOE stock and there is maybe a little play, not much though. Nothing really noticeable when shooting.

Mine has a little play when fully extended but nothing that concerns me, 1 stop in from fully extended and it's solid. In my opinion it suits the 15-22 just fine.

A friend has a mil-spec CTR on his non-MOE, and it is only marginally tighter but smoother to operate which makes it feel higher quality - which I suppose it is.

I put an MOE on my stock rifle and couldn't stand the wobble. It wasn't terrible but it bothered me. I couldn't handle the rifle without hearing it so I replaced it with the CTR. Smooth as a babies butt and rock solid. Glad I did it.

I had a little of play with my MOE stock. It wasn't enough to cause any problems, but it did bother me a little. I took the MOE stock off, and on the very top of the end of the buffer tube I put on small felt adhesive pad. It was only about 1" x 1" but after I replaced the MOE stock, the wobble was gone. The stock still moves freely if I want to collapse it, but the wobble is gone.

Hard to go by "what many people say" until you have yours in hand and can tell.

The nice thing about getting it through you LGS. You know what you have when you walk out with it.:D
