I've used both Montana Bullet Works and Western Bullet Co, but haven't heard of Montana Bullet Co.

Do you have a link?

Thanks

Montana Gold bullets are used by a large number of USPSA and IDPA shooters. I've heard that 50 to 60 percent of the shooters at a match use Montana Gold bullets.I know I've seen a large number of shooters who use them. These are people who shoot thousands of rounds per year. I've never heard a bad word about their bullets. I have heard some minor complaints about their prices.

I currently shoot lead bullets due to the cost. The big draw back with lead is the smoke. Especially for competition. I am currently trying a few different polymer/moly coated bullets. They are very comparable to the cost of lead bullets. If the coated bullets don't work, I'll be switching to Montana Gold. If you check out the Brian Enos forum you see lots of good reviews of the Montana Gold bullets.

I know a couple of guys that are involved in serious competition shooting, and they shoot the Montana Gold bullets, and say they like them...

Montana Bullets

I have used Montana Gold bullets for years in USPSA shooting, aprox. 5,000 a year in .45-230 gr. .40S&W-180 gr. and 9mm-124gr.
The bullet weight is very consident, very important in big matchs where power facter will be checked by chronoing the shot rounds and weighing your bullets.

Montana Gold are priced rightwhen you buy a full case, 2500 to 3450 rds depending on bullet wt. Shipping is by US Mail bulk rate aprox. 75 pounds per box. Your mailman will hate you!!!

And these plated bullets look so damn good when loaded.

I have used the 9mm- 115JHP and 40S&W-180grJHP with good success. They shoot as good as I can. I use the JHP since there isn't any lead exposed on the base. I would recommend them and they are very reasonable. They are jacketed bullets and not plated bullets.

Cor bon uses them in their match ammo 147 gr flat points in 9mm and 38 and they are very accurate.

I've been using them for several years in 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP. They are as good as Zero's. What I like is that you can get them without a long wait like other brands.. Try them -- you'll like them....

Montana Gold makes excllent jacketed bullets ina number of calibers. I have used their 9mm, 38 Super, 38 Special, and 40 S&W bullets.

I've used several calibers with great results.

Got an excellent deal on their 124 FMJ 9mm a while back.

I've used thousands of them in 45 and 40 calibers. The plant where they are made is just a few blocks from my house. Good stuff and decently priced.

I had good luck with MG bullets in several pistol calibers, they were consistently high quality. Their revolver bullets (.38) were a mixed bag. Some lots were great, others were undersized by as much as 0.002-3". Returning defective lots was more difficult than it should have been.
