Moon Clip Recommendations please.

I have been using the "Rimz" brand plastic moonclips in 10 mm. They seem fairly easy to load and unload. I have no experience with the steel clips.

I use regular steel moonclips in my 625. I bought this tool which works like a dream.

+1 on that "Deluxe Moon Clip Tool"... it really works great. Bought the demooner from Brownell though... looks like a plastic screwdriver handle with a piece of 1/2" ID tubing coming out of it. Steel moonclips are the only way to go, have no use for the plastic ones.
If you are handy, make one your self.

The 10mm moon clips have a relief slot in the fingers for each position, as a result they are pretty easy to load and unload by hand.
With the 45ACP clips this isn't the case and the fingers will "stack up" on the 6th round. This means that up to 5 rounds can be loaded by hand but the 6th is a real bear to snap in. Unloading a full clip is also a challenge. Being a cheapskate I made up an unloading tool in the machine shop at work one day. Bascially a copy of the Brownell tool except mine has a T handle on it. For loading I went real cheap, just got a pair of household 2 position pliers out of my spare tool box in the basement. Open them up to the wide position and insert one end into the center hole and the rim with the other jaw then squeeze. Not nearly as slick as that loader posted but all it cost me was a walk downstairs.

I love the RIMZ brand moonclips for my .45's.
Super easy to load and unload, yet they hold the cartridges like a vise.
By the way, I've found the large standard screwdriver on a Victorinox Swiss Army Tinker knife to make a pretty effective de-mooning tool for use with steel moonclips. As a bonus, the small screwdriver on the can opener blade fits S&S adjustable sight adjustment screws.
Super easy to load and unload, yet they hold the cartridges like a vise.

I have one of those deluxe moonclip tools, too. Excellent, but needed only when I turn to the few metal moonclips in my accessory box.

I use the Ranch Products steel ones and use the screwdriver looking tubular demooning tool.
I have a whole bunch of 1/2" copper pipe & have been considering polishing up some of it & making a few. I'm wondering if the copper would be too soft though.

I made out of piece 1/2" thin wall conduit don't use heavy wall it will not fit between shells . Just cut a notch out of end about 1/4 " down a little more than half way through. Make pipe long enough to hold all six empties and if you save brass its very handy. As far as loading clip that has never been a problem.
