Moonclip interchangeability question on new 627 8 shot

Received two different full moon clips from S&W for a new 627 8 shot that accepts moon clips. One full moon clip code, 24838, showed that it was for the 38 Super 8 shot, and the other full moon clip product code, 24368, showed that it was for the 357 8 shot.

Can the 38 moon clip be used for 357 ammo and the 357 moon clip be used on 38 ammo?

They are not interchangeable. Someone packing your order placed the wrong part in there. Return it to whomever you bought it from
n and get the correct part.

U got wrong clips. My 627 PC came with same clips for 38/357. Unfortunately gun broke after 100 rounds :-(

I want to find the polymer clips for my 8-shot TTR8 357/38.
RIMZ currently doesn't carry them in 357... any ideas? I don't mind the factory ones from S&W, buit it would just seem like polymers would be better.

The S&W issued moonclips for my 8x.38 Super were slotted. I have never seen any slotted moonclips for my 8x.357 Magnum. As others have said they do not interchange and somebody has made a mistake.

The 627 Pro Series comes ready for clips.

Ranch Products makes 8 shot 627 moonclips for both the 38 Super and 38Sp/357Mag version - they are not interchangeable.
