These guns have been shot a lot, which I believe is a testament to the quality of the finish S&W put on them. One with RR/WO, one with out. They are shooters.
These are some very beautiful pieces and the photography is first rate. The lighting on the finish reminds me of that guy on the Terminator that was made of liquid metal. Like the plywood background too.
I spent about 5 years looking for a 4" 27-2 with a pinned barrel (about half encountered are not pinned and I guess it's because they were running out of barrels and started using the unpinned -3 barrels on -2 frames so I call these 27-2.5s) but I could never pull the trigger and buy one.
Great looking gun Johnny3. Can you post a better picture.....that one is kind of blurry, but even so you can tell its a nice one with nice stocks as well.
