Which one do you think is more desirable, if both guns are in Excellent condition, S&W Model 19-6 2 1/2", blue, with factory grips from 1988 ... S&W Model 13-2 3", blue, with factory grips from 1981>>

If I had to choose, I'd go with the Model 13. The 3" guns are hard to come by and prized for CCW. Mine is my most carried revolver and it ain't goin' nowhere.

The 3" M13 would be more valuable to me, even if the 19 was a -4 or older.

The 13 probably has a full length ejector rod.

For personal preference, probably the M13. For future resale if necessary-the model 19 in 2 1/2" is a hot item.

Just ask yourself if you want fixed sights or adjustable sights. Personally, I don't care for adjustable sights on a snubby. But others do. They are both K-Frame .357s, so the major difference is the sights. (Note I did not say "the only difference".)

If it were a P&R M19 I would have gone that way. Instead I say the M13 3inch.
