On Friday I traded into this, I have wanted a 1907 for awhile and this 1915 seems to have scratched that itch. I piggybacked onto an older thread last Friday, with bolt hold open questions, but I ultimately figured it out. Off to the range today, hopefully no self disassembly's will occur. So without further ado, a couple of photos:

That old Savage is in nice shape. Looking forward to the follow-up post.

Whoo Hooo! What a unique and neat pistol! I have never shot .32acp before and it was fun. The pistol was surprisingly accurate. The magazine I have for it has seen better days, loading more than four rounds risked an occasional failure to feed. The sights are small, but the pistol points easily. Magazine heel release is stiff, I will gently work on it. Classic one handed shooting was only a little less accurate than two handed at 7 yards. All in all, this is a beautifully designed, historic pistol and I'm glad to have one.

I will be heading to the Colorado collectors gun show this Friday and will be on the hunt for more magazines and a holster. (Among other things )
