mossberg 715P...seen one??

I would imagine that this is to the 15-22p the same as the Mossberg 715T is to the 15-22.

Looks like the 715P is built off the 702 plinkster with just a plastic shell around it to look like an AR style firearm, just like the 715T.

it is the 715t piece of junk modified...if you handed me one along with a hundred dollar bill while saying to get the money, i had to take the gun...you'd still have your hundred dollars and the gun...

LOL, That Moss was a gun I thought I wanted bad for my boys to have an AR style 22. Then I saw one at a gun show, garbage.

On another note, I was tempted by the 15-22p, but after disconntinueing them, I found the GS prices to be rather out of my range (higher than the rifle by far!).

Budsgunshop has a price of 280 for the Beretta ARX-160 pistol, shipped! I jumped on that and have not been disappointed. The only fault I give it was with the flip up sights, didn't care for them and they were a two handed operation getting up and back down. Red dot cured that though. It has been utterly flawless, and I haven't even cleaned it yet.....

i made the mistake of buying one...it went back to mossberg twice before i even had 200 rds through it...it still wasn't 100% when it came back...a friend bought it knowing the issues...i feel i lucked out and sold it for somewhere between $30 and $50 less than what i paid...that money went to my 15-22 much much much better gun

Mossberg 715's in any shape or form should be avoided at all costs.
They're not reliable enough for even plinking, and definitely don't give it to a new shooter because it may just turn them off of the shooting sports altogether.

I know nothing about them but, I would bet my life on my new Mossberg 590A1 9 shot persuader:D

Mossberg have some guns made stateside and some made In Spain... The 715t is made in Spain...any fun made there has problems...my first shotgun was a mossy...I'd buy one of those again...there is no way I would insult my other guns by having a 715t/p or 702 plinkster I'my house

I looked at the 715T then after doing due diligence I watched a take apart video on YouTube and shuddered. He lost me at the 13 screws, my LGS is female owned and she recommended the 15-22. Sold!

when mine would fire, it was inconsistent because of this...on the carry handle version(which mine was at first) the front sight is actually molded into the left side of the clamshell. there is only two bolts that hold it in place and those are in the pistol grip...the front, where the sight is, flexes side to side...it's the same with the flat top model, except the sights bolt onto the rail(think flip up buis, without the flip up) instead of being molded into it.

Yep...

I knew the mossy's sucked...the p model looked an awful lot like the 15-22 pistol...just wondered if they had made any improvement...since they discontinued the 15-22 pistol, there aren't many alternatives out there...

I own a 715t have for about a year and a half and have had absolutely no issues with it. It has eaten every kind of ammo I feed it mainly bulk goldies, I would guestimate it has seen 3-4,000 rounds and has never been split and cleaned properly and still feeds and ejects fine. Now with that being said there is no comparison in quality compared to a 15-22 NONE. I could easily shoot 2-3 inch groups at 50 yards with barska red dot. Maybe I got a good one, I don't know defiantly wouldn't buy another one.
