Does Mossberg make a ringed style short forearm out of wood for a Model 500A? Mine has the sporter type forearm and looks kind of akward with the 18.5" barrel it came with. Any info is appreciated.

Click on 'Modern Shotgun Parts' and scroll down. Havlin sells that neat oil finished stock set for the 500A. I know it's the long style, but you should be able to swap out your action slide for the long one ($38). So, for $73 you could have the forearm you want with a better looking finish, in my opinion.
It's also a great company to deal with. When you call, the owner answers the phone.
