Mossberg MC2C

Just wondering if anyone else owns any of the 2 new 9mm that Mossberg came out with? I just picked up there latest compact MC2C last week. Had it at the range yesterday. So far, I'm pretty impressed with it. Had no issues the first few hundred rounds.

I haven’t heard much on the new MC2, but the earlier MC1 has had glowing reviews on the net. I really enjoy Mossberg products and think they are a great American company!

The owner of the range I shoot at carries the smaller one all the time. He loves it.
I didn't realize there was another version out there. My first guns were old Mossberg 22 rifles. I've always had a fondness for anything they make.

They're really nicely-priced for what you get. If they'd make one chambered in .40 S&W or .45 ACP, then I would be interested in getting one.

A cross-bolt safety is kind of weird on a pistol, but it might actually be easier to disengage than a slide-mounted safety.

Both of mine do not have the cross bolt safety.

I just handled a two-tone at a LGS. I was very impressed with it. I think it's just about the same size as a G48, but holding a few more rounds in a lovely chunky metal mag. Were it black with the safety, I would have taken the leap.

I've been very impressed, not a striker fire-trigger safety fan(Glock). But I feel this is much better built and stock trigger not a disappointment. Always prefer a manual switch safety. But bought a leather lock holster and feel a bit safer with a round chambered. My opinion if you can't carry concealed with a round in the chamber then it's just not an option as far as I'm concerned if you can't get it out and get it chambered in time for someone that's already chambered because they know they're going to do something then it's not going to do you much good. Being ready to use it I think it's just as important as the gun itself. I would be interested in buying a newer model I have the compact I haven't tried the subcompact but overall been impressed haven't had a single issue with at least two to 300 rounds. Also hands down one of my favorite American companies in firearms business.
