Most accurate 9mm ?

am just extremely fond of things put together well, serves it's function with perfection and is a pleasure to look at.....therefore the search for a well made tack driver.

You will not be disapointed by the 952.

Thought I would offer two choices for most accurate 9mm. Top Sig P-210-5 Long Slide. Bottom S&W 952-2 Long Slide Heavy Slide. some day I hope to be 1/10 as good as these guns are.

I'd throw in a PPC 9 in 5 or 6 inch length as another very accurate smith. Avalable new from PC to cops and on the used market for others.

I had 952 but it didn't really fit my hands. The PPC 9's are built on 59xx series frames.

(This is an older PPC 9. I have since sold both of these).

robertwalsh, rcinma, I have also been looking at the CZ 'Tactical Sport'. I have heard a lot about it, but again, have not had a chance to see one in person, much less shoot one.........

JoeHatley, growr, you both appear very confident that the 952 can't be beat.......

ragman, it's going to be hard to convince the other half that I need both. My collection is not large enough that she would not catch on pretty quick. Those are some very nice looking pieces. I can tell we think alike.........

My IDPA buddies are trying to get me to have one special built by any of a select few builders, but the price of those goes out of range rapidly........

You guys are really making this a hard decision.
I can't express my appreciation enough for your responses.

Many thanks,

td

I'm looking for a tack driver 9mm. I'm trying to decide between 952 and Sig X-5, or ???? (CZ maybe?)

Your opinions will be greatly appreciated.....

65...
A quick look at the PPC National Record Book will reveal that custom built 9mm 1911s hold the majority of the records...David Sams modifies the 92F for ball matches in Bullseye competition. Some of those guns are extremely accurate. Most custom 9mm 92Fs and 1911s will group well under an inch at 50 yards... You will rarely if ever, achieve extreme accuracy from a factory production line gun...
Good luck
Jerry

Re: Above poster, Jkeefer.

Mr. Keefer is being his usual modest self by not mentioning that he builds most of the 1911s in 9mm that win matches.

For less money than a Sig 210, Jerry can build you a gun that could put you in the winner's circle at Camp Perry(if you can hold it steady enough).

You're such an ignorant bunch here

Try to find a SIG P-210 to shoot as well as a 952. Either one are superb instruments. My 952 was the most accurate handgun I've ever owned, that includes some custom 1911s over the years.
