We are happy to announce that we will soon have a new home and state! Communication will be limited and slow until the middle of September. The shop will be moved in a few weeks and will not be up and running until early to mid-October. Email and my cell phone will stay the same. Shop address and shop phone number will be updated when moved in and service is connected. We can not be more excited to call the Beaver State our new home!!! :D :D

I really hope the move isn't too stressful for you and John. I can't say as I blame you all for going north and moving out of California. And there is no hurry on my grips; I can get by with the Goodyears on my 29-6 until Y'all get settled in and back doing grips. :)

HOW DID I GET THIS MUCH STUFF?

Glad you are doing it while still young. ;) It's one of life's most stressful times. We are in the process of tiling the entire house. Like planning the D - Day invasion. "DON'T EVER WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN". Best of luck.

Moves are always stressful but driving a car with two freaked out cats for 8-9 hours is not going to be fun at all! Newt will meow non-stop even on anti-anxiety medication. Now that is stressful!

Oh, I know that feeling. We went to Alabama last Christmas to visit my daughter and son-in-law and brought our 3 indoor cats. They weren't happy campers for the first 4-5 hours of the trip, but finally settled down when it got dark outside. It was about the same time in the car as your upcoming move.

Congratulations!

No, the politics here aren't perfect by a long shot. The political climate is much more to my liking on the dry side of the state, but I do love the coast. I go to Portlandia as seldom as possible, but when I do, I have places to go where I feel welcome. Cabelas, for instance, where I'm reminded that there are still sane people in the area.

The key to living on the Oregon coast is having things that you like to do when it's raining. Fishing and beachcombing for agates are my two favorites. Then, when the sun comes out, it really reminds me why I live here.
