I took my new MP FS 40 to the range for the second time today. This is the second time I ever shot a handgun. Not to great but not as bad as I thought. This was from 20'. Some shots were rapid fire from me just playing around. I seem to be consistently left. I believe its the trigger squeeze I need to get used to.

The rapid fire deal kinda spoils the target. You need to show us some 5-10 shot group targets to get a good review of what it might be. But if your pistol only has a few rounds through it you need to keep shooting it until you have 2-4 hundred rounds down the barrel, and you know it is broken in. Are you a right handed shooter?

looks like most of them are on the target...thats a good start...just like piano...practice-practice-practice...I have my new M&P 40 cleaned up from the factory gunk and hope to get out after Christmas to break it in

Yes I am right handed. It was just a quick tripto the range after work. Sunday ill do actual groups. I bought the gun used but seldom used. I have put exactly 175 rounds threw it.

Concentrate on the fundamentals and practice, practice and practice some more. Did I mention practice?

I found this. It seems I am gripping to tight
