New to the forum and new gun owner. I just got my carry and conceal and am looking for a IWB holster. Thinking about carrying 4-5o'clock. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Any other suggestions for gear or equipment would be appreciated. Thanks!

I carry a Stealth Defense Strut holster which is an IWB crossdraw. It gives great all day sitting comfort and does not print when bending over.

I picked this one up and works good. But difficult to sit in for long periods.

I'm a huge fan of Comp-Tac products. I have an MTAC for my 9c (same size as the 40) and with the adjustable cant, ride height, and tuckable, its pretty much unbeatable in my book. I just ordered a CTAC for my kimber 4". I also carry with one of their kydex reinforced belts.

Just ordered myself a MTAC. Thanks!

I'm a true believer in X-Concealment. They have a great selection of inside and outside options. Pictured here is the "slide holster" which fits my 9c and 40FS. I also have one specifically made for my 9c. Great company. Quick turn around time. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360028979.493938.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1360028993.604186.jpg

Hi ped3,

Everyone is a little different in what fits them and is comfortable. After all, if it isn't comfortable, you will end up not wearing it. My favorite is the Tucker Answer. I have two of them, one for my XD and one for my 1911's, it will fit any barrel length. Good Luck and let us know what you decide on.

forgot to mention, the mtac has adjustable screws for retention too. its completely customizable in every. you'l notice that everyone is different and what works for them may not work for you. comp tac has a 30 day no bs money back gaurantee (most companies do). i'm sure you'll enjoy it once it gets broken in (my retention was way to stiff at first). I'd be hard pressed to see if you didnt like it once you adjust to your likings.

I carry my 40c with rail mount laser in a Sticky Holster.
I got the one sized for a Glock 19 - gave a nice tight fit.

Look at Crossbreed Holsters. Love my new SuperTuck and they let you try out a holster for two weeks. If you don't like it they will buy it back from you or they will let you do a one time swap.
