I got my new mp9pro home today. As i got looking it over the front sight is off to the left. Has anybody else had this issue and what would you recommend. The gun shop i bought it from doesnt open up till next wed. Would you fix it yourself?
Thanks

Unless you have the proper tools I wouldn't try, give S&W a call or take it to the shop you got the gun from. I try to mess with my sights before and did not turn out well for me.

Depends on what kinda tools you have access to. It's not rocket surgery or anything but you do need the right tools. A brass punch and padded vise come to mind. It really shouldn't have shifted out of center on you though, so it may eventually need to be looked at. Pop the slide off and throw it in the freezer for an hour then see if you can more easily work it back to the center. I've found that one of those universal sight pushers you see on Ebay are worth their weight in your gun tool box (unless you want to spend the extra coin on a MGW pusher...).

I take it you haven't shot it, is there a chance that it might need to be there to shoot well?

shot today

I shot it today it was off a little but might have been me as well with it 35 degrees out. I think im going to shoot it for a while before i try to move it or send it back.
thanks for the responses

Since you're under warranty I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. FWIW, mine is dead on.
