MP-9 sight pattern

S&W M&P9. Just got the MP9
Is the sight pattern point of impact or point of aim?

I have shot a Taurus 24-7 and it is point of impact, so the front dot must “cover” the center of target, is this the same for the Novak sights on the MP9?
