MP 9c Roll Pin Question

Hey Guys,

Im considering switching over from Glock and have been taken by a 9c. My only concern is that the roll pins are a bit rusty. I have no problem getting them out or detail stripping the gun but i despise roll pins.

Is there a solid replacement pin? I was told the gen 2 guns no longer use roll pins and was thinking i may be able to retro fit them into the gen 1 9c.

I need a little advice here...
