MP Shield 9mm

We have just purchased a 9mm shield for my wife for her cc weapon. We have shot around 500 rds through it we are having issues with it not setting the last round in the clip.I can rack the slide and it will fire was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? She really likes the gun otherwise!
