I don't have that specific model, but my Mueller 4.5-14 is amazing for the money. The glass is crystal clear and the AO is perfect for what I use my Ruger 77/22 for.

Muellers are generally considered good scopes, but I must ask what is your intended purpose for the scope. Mirage tends to make me keep my 6-24 variables cranked down to 12-15 except for rare occasions. Tried aiming at a prairie dog once on 24 power, just saw a medium brown spot dancing wildly in the mirage. Could not even be sure it was a PD. Cranked it down to 12 in order to actually see the PD. Hopefully 0thers with actual experience will be along shortly to fully answer your question.

^Great info^

Unless your surroundings are ideal you won't use the Hubble settings.

The most I use with gophers is 16x, but I typically stick with scopes that stop at 14x and rarely switch to anything below 10x. I like front row seats to the carnage. That scares some people.

I currently own 6 Mueller scopes and IMO for the money they are the best scopes on the market.

I have a 8x32x44 Side Focus Tactical, there is also a 8x32x44 Side Focus Target. The difference between the 2 is the reticle, the target has the Target Dot and the Tactical has the Mil Dot. To the best of my knowledge that is the only difference between the 2.

I only use mine for punching paper so for what i use it for it works fantastic. The glass is clear and bright all through the power range (under ideal lighting conditions.). It has plenty of adjustment for my shooting. My only real gripe with the Muellers is that the eye relief can be a bit finicky and occasionally some of the scopes might have mushy adjustments but overall I am very happy with all of Muellers products.

I have the 8x32x44 Side Focus Tactical. Two 4.5x14x40 AO Tacticals APT(one might be going on a M&P 15-22 when I get the rifle), 2 8x25x44 AO Tacticals and a 4.5x14x40 AO APV so I guess you can call me a Mueller fanboy!!! :D:eek::D

Another thumbs up for Mueller Scopes!

I have the 4.5x14x40 AO Tacticals APT on a PWS Summit T3 rifle and its a perfect match for the paper punching I do with it out to 150 yards. At 14x the holes can be seen for instant feed back on "how bad I'm doing" :)

Great scope for the money.

Somewhat of a waste on a .22 especially a 15-22. I only use 6-24x when shooting .308 at 1000 yards. 6-24x is more than adequate to take groundhogs at 600 yards with a .223 bolt gun, even with an old Tasco scope (they were better in the old days). With a minimum of 8x you will have a hard time finding targets at close ranges around 100 yards unless you are shooting off a rest and they are not moving.
I hope you are not planning on putting this on your short barreled 15-22. Having more power is not going to help shoot better with a 2-4 MOA firearm. It will only show you how much it missed better if it does not drop completely out of the field of your scope. But that depends on your range. The biggest scope I have on a .22 that I use standing is 18x but to use anything more than about 8x you have to brace yourself on something. If you want an accurate semi-auto .22 rifle you need to start with either a 10/22 or a 597. You want to be able to get to sub-MOA accuracy. Not even remotely possible with the 15-22.

I was simply asking about the scope. I have a trs25 and leupold ultralight 3x9 that works fantastic for our rifles

Leupold makes some nice scopes. I don't own one right now but I could. My most expensive scope retails for about $1000 and that is on the .308. There are significant differences between $1000 scopes and $500 and under ones just as there are big differences between $1000 scopes and $2000+ ones. But not all the differences may be things you care about. That is the benefit of knowing what you want the scope to do and what you want the rifle to do with your scope.
