Authorities in Wisconsin are running an ammunition collection program at 3202 Berlin Drive in La Crosse on October 24. Might be an acquisition opportunity for an enterprising individual in this time of shortage.

The ammo being turned in will be destroyed, I fail to see how it will be good for anyone except those who seek to ban privately owned ammunition. The same goes for gun "buy back" schemes.

Wow. Wisconsin is really screwed up.
My wife was born and raised on a farm 30 miles west of Madison.
However she is the only one in her family smart enough to leave.

Someone might induce prospective participants to sell their ammo, if they intercepted them on the way to the turn-in.

I think it depends on the intent/motivation of the people running the buyback. I can imagine certain unnamed cities having drug disposal days and then entertaining offers for purchases. Generating revenue and all.
